Valentin Vega

I am from Lodi, California and I went to Tokay High School. I was in cross country for four years during high school, I honestly had a love-hate relationship with it. Now I just miss the sport and my team, but I am also happy that I no longer have to run as much as I did before. I also did badminton for two years and I was able to get on to the top six on my team. I finally did track and field for two years too which was just as hard as the cross country for me. I was not that good at running, but I feel my effort was enough for the team.

During covid, I was addicted to Smash Ultimate and I was able to get over a thousand hours of that in the span of a year. I got really good at the game and I feel that my improvement can help win some tournaments hopefully. I have broken 3 controllers not through rage, but because of how aggressive I press the buttons. I learned how to fix controllers because I have a favorite controller I absolutely do not want to break. The A button has been broken so I had to take apart the controller and clean it from the inside. It was certainly an experience, and I learned quite a bit.

I am a very big baker, I love baking sometimes and I have to say that I am kind of good at it, and I would go up to any challenge when it comes to baking. I think the hardest treat I have made was an apple rose tart that took me about 4 hours to complete. I feel when it comes to things that take a lot of time, I will do them but only if I love doing it.
