What is Design?

Whether someone wants others to think about them as a positive or negative person it all really comes down to the design of someone. Design is used to show what emotion or feeling that someone has, but it is rather used to show the characteristics of someone. Design is like a little biography of someone that explains who they are as a person and where they have been. 
 

Designs are not always on people, they can also be on buildings. Throughout history, we see that designs were used as a way to show power over other people. Roman and Greek architecture has been used or referenced in the past with their distinguished designs to represent wisdom or power in today's world. A great example of that would be The White House that has small traces of Greek architecture in it. With the help of neo-classical architecture, it was able to elevate the elegance of The White House. 
 

Art has its own elements that make it be art. With the help of those elements, we used them to create a design. While art has its elements, design has principles that help the author draw the attention of the viewer to what they want them to see the most. The principles of design should be able to flow together to convey the correct message to the view of the art piece.
