These five drawings were meant to revolve around gears. I don't have anything that I can draw from life so the best thing I found was my sharpener. It was definitely a challenge placing the sharpener in positions that were a little bit interesting. These were all done in pencil and in my sketchbook.

These two drawings were made in my drawing class. They were drawn when we were first starting to practice portraits from the frontal view. They were a little hard to understand the first few times but I managed to do them.

These are self-portrait drawings and they were meant to be used as practice. The drawing on the top right was my last practice drawing and that came out the most like me. I used a mirror to draw myself and they were done in pencil and Tombow pen as well.

Two drawings of side profile. The first one is a drawing of my partner in class. It does not look exactly like her, but the resemblance is there. The second drawing is one of my friends and the resemblance for that one is almost on point. They were done in pencil and in my sketchbook.

Drawings that were made in pen. The subjects for these drawings were things from nature. These were to practice the technique of getting details down as fast as possible. They were fun to draw because it was the first time using pen movement like that to draw something.

Hand drawings that I spent 15 minutes on each. These were just for practice so the proportions are not correct for some of them. Even though I spent 15 minutes on these drawings they were helpful in practicing hands. They were drawing in pencil and in my sketchbook.

Drawing of a tree. This was a study that I did in my drawing class. It was done in pencil and in my sketchbook. It was one of the first times that I used the hatching technique to add texture to the leaves and it was a little hard to get it right. Now with the practice I have I can use hatching better.

Study of portrait drawing. The medium used was charcoal. This was a sketchbook assignment and I decided to use charcoal for it because I wanted to practice using charcoal. Definitely, a new medium and it was a little easy to use except the fact that it was really messy.

Drawing of a speaker, water bottle, and a granola bar. this was part of my daily drawings collection. The purpose of these was to draw things using perspective and correct proportions.

Study drawing from a famous artist. I do not remember who was the artist we used to study from because it was from my drawing class. The point of this assignment was to use hatching to achieve a texture. Graphite and in my sketchbook.

Landscape drawing for one of my classes. It was one of the first times that I created this without the use of a subject to draw from. Graphite and in my sketchbook.
