What is Craft?

Craft is the creative outlet that we use in order to make things more interesting for ourselves. It is able to be something creative that we can just look at and admire, or it can be something that we find use out of. An example of this is when someone makes a chair. The effort that they put in making the chair gives the maker of it satisfaction from it. This satisfaction is almost like therapy to the person which we can all sometimes need. 
 

Gardening is a form of craft that helps someone create a piece of art. To make art or a design, a person needs the craft to create these big or small projects. Getting the materials for the design and the art are the things that consist of craft. Whether that be pencils, colors, or different types of paper; these things are what we use to create new designs.

Finally, craft requires a skill that someone has to acquire in order to make things that are actually useful for someone. Skills are built over time after we repeat the same process over and over again until we have mastered the craft that we want. One version of craft that I want to master is baking, and it is something that is quite difficult to master without the proper materials to do so.
